COVID-19 Update on Services

Dear Valued Customers and Vendors,

Seaside Kitchens and Baths Inc is taking measures to be safe and healthy during these uncertain times. Health and wellness of our employees and clients is our priority. Due to the order for the closure of all non-essential businesses announced by Governor Baker in Massachusetts,

·       We will be temporarily closing our showroom in Marstons Mills until further notice. We will however be open by appointment if necessary, following all social distancing protocols. If you need samples of any sort, we can open the door of our showroom (remotely) for you to leave or get any samples you may need outside in the outdoor display. Masks and/or gloves will be provided for all those who wish to visit the showroom.

·        All of our current installation work on ongoing projects will remain as is on a day to day basis until they give us the stop work order.

·       Our installers will remain working on their own optional basis according to their own discretion. If you don’t feel well, please let us know so we can schedule work at a later date. If our installers aren’t feeling well in the slightest, they will not be working.

·       In light of all non-essential services, all countertop templates and installations are cancelled until the closure is lifted on April 7th or when the State deems safe to do so.

·       Also many deliveries have been postponed and delayed from many states that have closed down their factories. Manufacturers affected and included are St. Martin Cabinetry and Forevermark Cabinetry. These factories are shut down for any manufacturing and/or deliveries until May 1st. If your job is already scheduled for delivery, you will be contacted by the end of this week when we have more information on this matter, allowing these companies to set up remotely for customer services.

·       Custom work as well as Holiday Custom Kitchens are operating at “business as usual”, however, are experiencing longer lead times due to covid-19 related work bans.

·       Job site meetings will be cancelled until further notice unless otherwise agreed upon by all parties involved. Job site measures will still be done as scheduled and as needed to be updated on a day to day basis.

·       Our office staff although working remotely is equipped with all the same capabilities and access to communication, estimating, design, scheduling and payment systems.

We understand that this is a difficult situation for everyone and we apologize for any delays on your projects. We will keep you apprized as the situation further develops. As things are, believe it or not, this is the best time to plan your projects from a design perspective. So we encourage you to do so now before the catch up period comes when we are allowed to go back to work as usual.

Please stay safe and healthy!

Thank you,

Dwight Dougherty
